The JediKC MASQUERADE 5K/FUN RUN FINISHER MEDAL 2020 Proof
JEDIOKC Fan Club is hosting it's annual Masquerade Fun Run 5K & 1Mile on October 10, 2020 (5PM) at Scissortail Park in Oklahoma City. The Masquerade Fun Run is a family event with costumes, contests, and games. This is our annual Fun Run to serve as the major fundraiser for our community outreach projects. The main recipient of JEDIOKC's outreach is Integris Mental Health Spencer. For the last 19 years during Christmas JEDIOKC provided brand new coats and shoes for all of the children, JEDIOKC also host an ice cream social each summer and provides Halloween candy buckets for each child at Integris Mental Health.
INTEGRIS Mental Health Spencer
The Integris campus is situated on a scenic 20-acre parcel of land 10 minutes away from downtown Oklahoma City. The center includes living units, medical examination and treatment rooms, administrative and clinical offices and a dining area. A gymnasium, which children and adolescents use both for formal therapy and casual recreation, is used for basketball, volleyball and other activities, all under the direction of a certified recreational therapist. A challenge course with both low and high elements helps young people develop self-esteem, trust, and problem-solving, teamwork, leadership and decision-making skills.
What is JediOKC ?
JediOKC is Oklahoma’s largest Star Wars Fan Club. Established in 2001, it originally was a place for like-minded fans to share their love of Star Wars. Today, its membership embraces numerous sci-fi and pop-culture genres. Open to the public and family-friendly, our bond has expanded beyond a pop-culture phenomenon and become something more. Our costumed characters have supported dozens of local charities and events, keeping our weekends full with appearances at area schools, fundraisers, and conventions.
